“Stayed one night on road trip. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Ample, easy parking with the pub located only a short drive from Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay. Breakfast was great with a large selection of alternatives cooked dishes, as well as the 'full English'. Overall good value. Would definitely stay again.”

“The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break”

The facilities were fantastic for the price and what we needed for a weekend stay. Moretti on tap and a pool table in the cosy bar. The breakfast was exceptional. “We booked Thoresby Guest House as it was within 20 mins walking distance of Scarborough Open Air Theatre. We were given a warm welcome by Deania, manager of the Thoresby and shown our room. It was perfect for our needs. We had a view of the North Bay and a really comfy bed. Deania showed us a couple of other rooms in the morning as we checked out. There are room options for all party sizes. Thanks for a lovely stay. We would definitely book again. ”
