“The pod we stayed in was beautifully clean and well maintained. It had lovely little touches like a small milk in the fridge waiting for when you arrived, each bed space had its own towels (including bath towels) so that was a nice touch also. The only thing I would recommend is that the view from the front of the pod isn’t the same on the photos due to new lodges being built so when we got there it was a little disappointing not to have that view and just a little suggestion now new lodges are...

“We had a great holiday at Hawthorne Lodge, which was very clean and cosy. It was a lovely place to relax and chill out. Also good parking next to the lodge. We were lucky with the weather sun all week. our dog also had a good time and there was a big field next to the lodge where we could walk her. Would highly recommend to stay there for a holiday. ”

We are foster carers and needed a break with our very small youngster and the pod suited us perfectly - there was even a song thrush singing to us every evening!”
