Would highly recommend The Meltham Guest House if you are looking to stay adjacent to the North Bay close to all the attactions that it has to offer

“The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, the breakfast well set out and good choice of exception food, bed comfortable and beautiful view from window.”

Situated in a beautiful village with a lot of history, convenient to Scarborough too, a 40 min walk or a 4 minute drive away from the north side coast. ”
“Stayed here on a solo visit whilst visiting Scarborough open air Theatre, the room was lovey and great value , the bed was so comfy I slept till 9am . This was a lovely stay & would stay here again . Thank you ”
“What a lovely hotel. We stayed in a different one around the corner the night before and what a difference our stay here was. Staff friendly, accomodation and nothing was too much trouble! The food was beautifully cooked! Homemade nom nom. We were made to feel welcome and will be going back with our little boy for sure!

The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order.
The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area .
Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough.
The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break.

“It was just me and my son for an overnight stay. I hadn't paid for a sea view room and ended up with a large corner ensuite room with free tea/coffee,(Kettle). When we left the room the door wouldn't lock so went to reception to report it,in the meantime I went to get my car as I'd got a space in the hotel car park (very limited spaces £6.00 for the night).Back at the hotel they gave us another room a sea view with no extra charge.
