Hotel per golfisti a Southampton

“The room had everything you need but wasn’t clean and they don’t clean during your stay either. You can get new towels from reception, but no one is coming to get your previous wet/used ones. Reception desk is impressive and the 2 girls were smiley and attentive. Bathroom was ok but looking very tired. Shower was good and powerful. Parking is easy and the golf course looks good. For the price it wasn’t great value. We might stay again if we can’t find anything better, for the next Goodwood...

“The rooms are not in the main building, they are what I can only describe as motel type rooms in a couple of blocks. We had a 1st floor room the window only opened an inch and there was no A/C, didn't get a lot of sleep at the weather therefore the room was baking hot. Lovely grounds to walk round and the breakfast was good in a really nice setting.”

“Walkable for us to many attractions although it would have been nice if some tourist information was included by the host. This could be provided from the Tourist Info booths. The room was not clean enough, much room for improvement there. Broken ornaments, sticky floor, torn material and squeaky stools. Appliances not cleaned properly. The bed was comfortable enough but the duvet was far too heavy. Carpet in the hallways leading to the room was very dirty. The dryer was grinding like crazy...

“We had a great time, lovely neighborhood, location is easy access to needed items. Marvin is an excellent host. He responds right away with all questions. For a home that is 140 years old it is in excellent shape. Beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was there. Big plus to be on the water. Thank you Marvin!”
