Palazzi a Southend-on-Sea

“Very convenient and clean (although slight damp smell throughout) and staff were lovely! This is a pretty basic hotel though - room large with comfy bed but warm - and if you don't have a room in the hotel itself you are nowhere near the sea - wasn't a problem for us. It's a very busy locals pub though which we were good with but not a tranquil seaside stay. And parking is tricky as need to top up at the off-site carpark at 8am each day. Good breakfast tho!”

“Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. In all honesty The beds felt like a horse has broken them in, we have all woken up with sore backs today so definitely need adjusting (or even a mattress topper) the curtains were very thin so we were all woken up with the light first thing which was also frustrating as we wanted to make the most of the rest. The fridge also didn’t work (have informed host and...

“Jo and her staff couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast was lovely starting with a fresh fruit platter. Beautifully turned out and very comfy beds ”

“Stanze grandi e ben attrezzate. Uniche pecche: mancava lo spazzolino per il water e la temperatura dell'acqua calda non si poteva alzare più di tanto. Ovviamente si tratta di un hotel autostradale, quindi non si può pretendere che la location sia particolarmente amena, però in generale la stanza era davvero molto meglio della media riscontrata in tutta la vacanza.”
