“Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. “We were there for one night, room and bed were comfortable, only issue is that like many UK hotels there is no air conditioning so the room is hot at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. ”
