“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Stay549. It feels like home! Val was super nice and friendly when she checked us in. Everybody there was very helpful. When the coffee machine broke, they quickly replaced with a brand new one. Thank you…my husband and I need our coffee to start the day 😁 We will definitely come back when we are heading back West.”

“The room was well equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. I wish they had another mirror somewhere on the wall of the room so that one person can get ready( such as doing hair and make up) when the other person is in the bathroom. The hotel is undergoing renovations till August, but didn't affect us much. The pool was closed due to unexpected circumstances. All staff were pleasant and responded promptly to our requests.”

“Check in was wonderful and the staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean with no odours or lingering scents. Pool was a lot of fun for the kids and the hot tub was great for the adults. The breakfast was fantastic! Everything that was Gluten free was labelled - and they made the eggs and sausage GF - which rarely happens at other hotels. Will definitely look for Best Western first for future travels.”

“We stayed with our two kids for a staycation weekend in the city. We were very pleasantly surprised by the Birchwood. It is well maintained, and the staff are very friendly. Free parking was nice. There are restaurants within walking distance. Close to Assiniboine Park. Comfy beds, spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, mini fridge, Keurig. But the best part was the pool area. There is a really fun indoor playground, ping pong table, foosball table, kiddy pool, regular pool, and hot tub. We had a blast...
