“Alas, poor Mountain Top Inn, I thought I knew you. I have stayed there back in the day, when there were hot tubs in the rooms. They have made obvious and welcome efforts to improve the property and the rooms. I especially appreciate the excellent bed, and an actual chair. However, it's not as well kept as one would like. “First of all Hamilton, Ga., is a charming small town central to some of the nicest attractions in Georgia, i.e., Providence Canyon State Park (a MUST see), Warm Springs and the Little White House, Callaway Gardens, etc. From Don's greeting at the door upon arrival to looking forward to seeing Judy and Rosemary at breakfast our week long stay at Holly House was outstanding. “I did not feel like this was a safe property for a single female traveling alone. They put me in the back. It wasn’t very well lit. I only stayed the 1st night. Then found an air B&B that seemed safer and was closer to the facility I was working. The first room I was given had an odor and was obviously not clean. The second room had an odor, but seemed cleaner than the first. But I definitely was not happy with the room quality.”
