“I would have guven an all round 5 star rating apart from the noise factor, unfortunately the walls are a bit thin and the door slamming disturbed my sleep. Hiwever, having said that it won't stop me from staying again. The place is excellent otherwise, great location, great staff, great amenities. Rooms are exceptional for a backpackers. Highly recommend.”

“Amazing staff, beautiful rooftop views, spacious rooms, easy free parking. I would recommend posting signs requiring guests to clean up after partying. Each morning the staff would pickup rubbish and empty bottles and cans. Yes, the hostal have rubbish and recycling bins easily accessible, yet some guests failed to use them”

“I had booked the room last year for 4 people in a doorm and when I arrived they had put all of us in different rooms it’s not what I had booked. It was dirty and to see a mop bucket emptied in the communal kitchen was just disgusting as it’s were people cook.”

“Positives first
- comfy bed
- central location
BUT unfortunately the downsides of this property far outweighed these.
Negatives:
- the flat was not clean, particularly the carpets
- 24/7 building noise most days made the balcony unusable most of the time. (it’s in Oaks River City and overlooked the huge building site for the new Albert Street station)
- the flat smelt awful (from the carpets and lingering damp)
- the general foyer smelt awful (probably from the bin chute)
- the agent...
