“A proper country pub, with a decent room. Good beer and I had a very nice steak supper. Good cooked breakfast in the morning, all for a good price. What’s not to like! ”

“The Sailors Rest is in a good location within Appledore,close to the main car park. The room was clean, as was the communal access. The view from Room 3 was excellent. A shaver point and shelf in the bathroom would be really helpful, but other than that everything was fine.”

“All in all me and my partner loved our short stay away in a beautiful shepherds hut. It was out of the way and so peaceful, i’d definitely stay here again. The only thing that let it down was the door latches and there was a gap in the bathroom door. ”

“Amazing stay, regular visited to Woolacombe in the summers months at the caravan parks. Found this Gem and will be using them again! Perfect location. 10 minutes from Barnstaple and 10 from Woolacombe! The town it’s situated in is also great! The Room was stunning and the hosts were great too.. No iron in the room so I messaged the host and when I got back to my room from a trip into town, there was an iron and an ironing board their waiting for me! Thank you!”
