“The hotel is undergoing construction however it was very quiet and all the common areas were clean. The parking was convenient. One morning I left early in the morning and one of the housekeepers asked if I wanted my room cleaned. I said yes but when I came back the room had not been cleaned, and no one cleaned the room the remainder of the stay, just something to keep in mind. I also was not a fan of how dim the room lighting was fo someone like me with poor eyesight it was a struggle. Overall...

“Room was clean although older. Our room had an odor that we couldn't figure out. May just have been from the hurricane water damage. Pool was nice, but would have been better heated. Limited menu at Jimmy B's. Hope they expand that. All in all, I'd stay there again. Beach was nice, and chairs and umbrellas were great to have. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Place could use a little sprucing up, (beautiful fountain not working, fencing an eyesore) but considering the hurricane a few years...

“Our AC broke the second day we were there but the staff was very helpful and moved us quickly to a new room that had all the amenities we had previously. No downgrade. Pool was relaxing. Cleanliness could have been better. We did find dust and a few bugs (dead flys and a baby cockroach) but nothing CRAZY that we needed to leave for. Good location and not a bad walking distance from all the “touristy” activities.”

“Dingy, dirty and damp. Stains on sheets, rust stains on a lot of the furniture, surfaces dirty. Dingy mildew and pee smell immediately upon entering the room. Since I checked in after midnight and was literally there to only sleep for one night, I didn’t think it worth mentioning to the staff my issues. I wouldn’t have trusted that they would’ve kept the same quality and cleanliness standards for the other rooms anyway if I was offered another room.”
