The machine takes credit cards, you sign the rental agreement on screen and it prints receipts and dispenses the room card key. The room was clean but the smell in the room was of old cigarettes and what ever noxious chemicals they use as air freshener. there was an immediate physical reaction to this atmosphere that made it impossible for staying there.
