“My daughter and I arrived to the property around 1pm and were grateful for an early check in. We were offered three rooms, two in the basement of the house where we checked in (not Melville). The room was dark and musty with dated furniture and a stained rug. I’ve stayed in B&Bs with this place before and knew about the bait and switch. We were only in Newport for a day and a half so we took the hit for the early check in. The real issue I have is with the what I’m going to assume is mold? The...

“The owner was not what you would call friendly. At first they didn't find the booking, then through expedia they found it. They said they had a problem with too much cars to be parked and proposed a free upgrade in a different property 10 min walking distance and lot of parking. I suppose in a qieter place, but not as close to shops and bars. We wanted to see the room we were supposed to be in, it was very small and sad, small window on the street and very close to the breakfast room, so we...

“Hotel was beautiful! Location was prime. Weather was pouring rain for our stay so not great. Meredith the Concierge worked wonders getting us a reservation to our top pick for restaurants 22 Bowen. It did not disappoint! We used the hotel’s large gym before an amazing dinner. Free WiFi required a bonvoy membership (which is free) but slightly annoying.”

“I enjoyed the stay so much. My room was stunning. It was clean,big, and very comfortable. You are given a code to get through the front door and a code to get into your room. It was very easy. Such a beautiful place the best place I've stayed in a very long time.”
