“Great hostel in the heart of La Fortuna, situated 40 metres from Selina Hostel and 2 minutes from the bus terminal, main plaza and supermarkets. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the entire ambience of the place is calming and cozy. WiFi was great too. Note though that the 9 bed dorm consists of triple bunks.”

“Before you walk through the gates, you’ll be wondering if this is one of the bad hostel’s on your trip… but as soon as you check in and meet pepe, you’ll quickly feel like home. There’s a lot of space, the rooms are clean, the kitchen doesn’t really need anything and, best of all, you’ll become friends woth Pepe and his wonderful dog It’s too far away from the beach to walk but you can easily get a collectivo and isn’t very much.”

“I am grateful for the amazing affordability of this hostel which was also paired with a low-key easy-going atmosphere. When I was told that there would be “a pancake” in the morning I wasn’t expecting much but I was happily surprised to discover that this pancake was very large, neither over cooked nor under cooked and it was decorated with two different fruits on top along with syrup of course. Thank you! I’m so grateful.”

“every time i come to jaco beach i stay at selinas and every time i stay it just gets better and better all the time. this time they had the entertainment of the DOUBLE tight rope walker over the pool giving lessons. i was not drunk enough to try it myself, but steven was the greatest. oh, and don't fotget aboout the every night happy hour with cocnut water and cacique. did you know that in world wars 1I and II, that they used coconut water for blood transfusions on the soldiers that lost so...

“Hostel Selina is a cute spot way up in the mountains with a great common area, hot tubs, a library/reading space, kitchen and yoga studio. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return our next trip here!”

“Love Selina santa teresa south! The pool is so clean and beautiful and they clean the rooms if you want. They upgraded us to a private room but I’ve stayed in the shared bunks and it was very nice and clean too. The people here are super nice and friendly. Also monkeys. Lots of monkeys. ”
