“We purchased a room with a king bed. When we arrived, we were told that there were no king beds available and that they didn’t know how the booking even went through. We received a room with two double beds.”

“simple place with enough room to yourself outside, inside was accommodating for my stay and it’s been a while since i browsed a dvd wall appreciated tbh lol Good location for border hopping. would of enjoyed the view more if lake was full, but that’s nature and my dog didn’t complane! plenty places around for a hammock. nights were quiet and peaceful. ”

“The room is advertised as having continental breakfast included. When we checked in, the lobby was closed and we had to check in through almost a teller window. At this time, we were informed they no longer did breakfast and it was suppose to be removed from their listings (pictures still showed breakfast too). When we checked in, the towels were still being washed; however we were brought warm towels as soon as they were done. Our kids feet turned black/gray from running around the room...

“Honestly we were only inside for sleeping. We spent the entire time out on either the deck or on the screened in porch. My mom called the screened in part her little tree house, because it felt more like being in the trees due to how the property sits. Even though all the beautiful oaks & magnolia trees block a full view of the lake from the porches, you only have to wander over to the pavilion, fire pit or dock to take in it’s beauty. So many wonderful memories my momma & her sisters made as...

“For the price, this hotel was quite clean and I (as a woman traveling alone) felt safe. There is a winery next door that is charming. I would stay here again as a stop on the way to florida.”
