Hotel storici in Derbyshire

“The room wasn't particularly clean, but it was fine. The w.c. it was spoiled and stained. Every time I took a shower the whole room flooded (you have to keep the curtain inside the tub to limit the leakage). Slight unpleasant smell when I entered the room. All in all, it's not the worst, but I was expecting something more from a 4 star Hotel which is also a wedding venue. I'm writing about the HOTEL, Maybe the restaurant and the spa are better as like they looks in the pictures.”

“Stayed one night. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Food was excellent. We had lasagne which was really tasty. Breakfast was good. ”

Beds were comfy and all was good bar a lack of electric from the plugs on the top two floors which ruined my plan to spend the weekend in the jacuzzi bath! We didnt contact the owners as it caused us very little bother. There are approx 20 varied pubs within half a mile, heaven.”

“Stayed here over the Christmas 2023 for 7 nights. As many reviewers have commented, the property is furnished to a high standard, with particularly comfortable beds. Some of the best we’ve had in a rental. The house is well located with views of Carsington Water and pub within walking distance. Lots to see and do within a short drive.
