“It was more than expected! From the cleaners ,to the welcome,the cleanliness, comfort and food ( deceptively small portions which leave you in a food coma) I cant fault it.The suprise from housekeeping made my day Would def recommend and am planning to book in the near future.”

“Very Helpful staff,very quirky room in the roof,lovely touch of the free port in the room and because I was leaving before breakfast they left a small bag of food outside my door,Only small niggle I could see for some was no TV,didn’t bother me and also I kept banging my head when getting out of bed and the bath which was in the same room as the bed,I would definitely stay there again but maybe next time see if they have a normal room 😃”

“This is a quaint place. The stairs are a little tricky with luggage but the room was delightful. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a great stay and we would definitely come back. ”

“Great food and choice of drinks. Room was lovely, although it needed a thinner quilt, as it was far too hot. A bit disappointed that breakfast was not served until 9.00 am, although they did offer me a take away hamper. This was a business trip so I could not hang around for breakfast. I would definitely stay again though.”

“Soggiorno di tre notti a Londra: posizione dell’ hotel molto buona per trasporti pubblici. Camere molto piccole , pochissimo spazio ai piedi del letto, la finestra era un abbaino sul tetto, non specificato. Colazione buona ma abbastanza minimal, pulizie camere buona, spazi comuni sufficente. Hotel nel complesso positivo,anche considerando il prezzo.”

“The room was very nice, the pub is pretty, and the village is pretty. However the listing was misleading - the restaurant doesn't function midweek, and they don't do breakfast either during the week. I was walking, and didn't want to walk more miles to eat. It's not hard to provide a cold breakfast. So make sure you check whether they're doing food if it matters to you. ”

“A forbidding looking picture of the hotel in what has been described as the "most haunted village in England" (!) turned out to be a very comfortable stay with an excellent dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended.”

“Our room had a view of the castle, and was pleasantly spacious. The busy road in front, with a narrow pavement, was less ideal. Still well worth the trouble, and it would have been easier had we arrived before dark.”

“I have pictures of our disgusting dirty room with spider webs & uneven flooring. Smelly moldy rooms with wet stains on the walls and ceiling. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and neither did the TV. There was a tea kettle, but no tea or coffee. This looked nothing like the picture you showed!!! I would like my money refunded. I would not recommend this property to anyone! We slept in our clothes and couldn’t wait to get on the ship to shower and send our clothes to the laundry.”
