“An absolutely great and cozy holiday home in a great location. We really liked the furnishings and style of the house. The small travel guide that the landlord provided us was very helpful. We really liked the recommended restaurants, excursion tips and shopping opportunities. We will come back!! A little tip: Surf & Turf in the Peer Restaurant on Saturday evenings are awesome!!!”

“Angefangen von der herzlichen Begrüßung durch die Gastgeber bis zur warmherzigen Verabschiedung haben wir in dem wunderbaren englischen Cottage eine tolle Urlaubswoche genossen. Es liegt ganz ruhig in einer englischen Bilderbuchlandschaft. Von der Unterkunft aus sind viele interessante Ausflugsziele in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Auch der nächste Bahnhof ist nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Wir kommen gern wieder.”

“The property is in a lovely holiday park and the surrounding area is great. The property itself is comfortable and fairly well equipped. The problem is that small changes could make it better. The tv is shocking, needs a new cable. I did contact the owner who said he would look in to it but this never happened. One of the mattresses in the twin room needs changing desperately, it completely sags in the middle and is not comfortable. There is also an electricity meter you have to feed £1 coins in...

“This is a quirky old cottage situated in a beautiful and quiet part of Deal, very close to the beach and cycling/walking opportunities. We enjoyed many walks, cycle rides and swims as a result. We enjoyed our stay and were not too fazed by the steep stairs and low ceilings as we were expecting them. “Firstly I need to say how wonderful Jim and Anita were and how welcoming they made us all feel. The location of Honey Pot Farm is stunning with views to take your breath away. The town of Hythe is a mere 10min drive and well worth a visit. We will most defiantly be going back 10/10”

“The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had.”

“My family and I were slightly hesitant about booking a cottage in the midst of winter but we all had the best time ever. The Cottage is gorgeous and the wood-burning stove made it super cosy, the kids adored playing on the trampoline for hours on end. We discovered some stunning countryside walks and forests and quaint old Kentish pubs serving amazing food - we all want to come back already. Really organised hosts too - thank you !”

“Small in size but big in style. We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Sweet Shop. It is beautifully and quirkily decorated, making the most of its small size. It had everything we needed, including picnic chairs for the beach which is directly across the road, and retro sweet shop sweets for the kids. It’s the perfect location for exploring Deal. We loved opening the window to see the sun sparkling on the sea every morning. The only thing that would stop us going again is our kids getting too...

“Our room had a view of the castle, and was pleasantly spacious. The busy road in front, with a narrow pavement, was less ideal. Still well worth the trouble, and it would have been easier had we arrived before dark.”

“I have pictures of our disgusting dirty room with spider webs & uneven flooring. Smelly moldy rooms with wet stains on the walls and ceiling. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and neither did the TV. There was a tea kettle, but no tea or coffee. This looked nothing like the picture you showed!!! I would like my money refunded. I would not recommend this property to anyone! We slept in our clothes and couldn’t wait to get on the ship to shower and send our clothes to the laundry.”
