Plantagenet Cottage è unico, affascinante e nascosto nella periferia di un villaggio pittoresco del Kent.
Le vedute del cottage si affacciano sull'Eastwell Manor Country Estate, che si trova all'interno della splendida area del Kent Downs di straordinaria bellezza naturale.

Il cottage risale al 16 ° secolo quando originariamente costruito come abitazione di Richard Plantagenet, un figlio naturale del re Riccardo III [quello che hanno trovato sotto il parcheggio di Leicester], quindi il nostro Richard era, in teoria, il ultimo nella stirpe dei re di Inghilterra Plantageneti. Dormiamo 6 persone [possibile 7 / bambino] in tutto 3 camere da letto di lusso - di fatto tutta la struttura indipendente è stato recentemente ristrutturato secondo uno standard molto elevato che fornisce tutti i servizi moderni e comfort pur mantenendo il cottage di fascino rustico e valore storico.

L'ampia zona giorno con 2 comodi divani, un televisore 40 "al plasma intelligente con Netflix, Amazon / iPlayer etc. Essa ha anche un grande caminetto - belle accoglienti caminetti in climi più freddi. mesi.

La zona pranzo ha un tavolo seduti per 6 persone al di sotto di un soffitto a volta con un arco gotico che guarda verso il giardino.
C'è anche uno spazio ufficio con porte di rete e stampante e USB di ricarica dalla maggior parte delle camere. C'è una cucina completamente attrezzata con elettrodomestici nuovi in ​​una finitura in legno fatti a mano. E un bagno con vasca, doccia e servizi igienici - e ha un sgabuzzino [con piano di lavoro in legno] all'interno di un antico camino recentemente esposti.

Il giardino avvolge intorno alla proprietà e ha un parco come il tatto con un sacco di alberi e arbusti ben consolidata. Un sacco di spazio per i bambini a giocare .. Abbiamo anche tumuli 'Teletubby'! C'è un barbecue e posti a sedere di fuori.

Un momento culminante nei mesi più caldi è la piscina esterna riscaldata che si trova in una zona murata in un angolo soleggiato del giardino. POOL OPEN FRA APRILE A SETTEMBRE - la data esatta dipende dal tempo.

Il nostro cottage è davvero un posto delizioso che pensiamo abbia una bella sensazione rilassata e una buona atmosfera.

Perfect Cottage

Wonderful stay at the perfect cottage in a great location. Spacious holiday home with everything we needed for a great week! Fully enclosed enormous garden, perfect for children and dogs. Hosts Tim & Maite were on hand for anything needed, highly recommend and will be back.

We stayed here as a family of 5 with ages ranging from 7 to teens to 40 somethings. We all had the most amazing 6 nights and we were so sad when our time had come to an end. The house, the garden, and the pool were incredible. We had some much needed quality family time and I would recommend this property without reservation, we had the most magical time.

Beautiful cottage and gardens

We really enjoyed our brief stay in this beautiful cottage. It had all the facilities needed, lovely interior designs and a wonderful garden - and pool! The location is good - easy access to local pub, or short drive to shops and amenities of a town - and everything that Kent has to offer. We managed to fit in, designer shopping, beach and Canterbury - plus lots of pool time.

Wonderful trip

What a fantastic house for a group of friends looking for a relaxing break away. The house was beautiful and equipped with everything you could need. The garden was magical and the pool was an amazing addition to our stay. The hosts were very attentive and available at anytime if you had any questions. There is a lovely pub on the green a couple minutes walk away and the town of Wye is a 10 minute drive away, with lots of walking routes if you want to stretch your legs. Thanks for having us, we look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful break

My family and I were slightly hesitant about booking a cottage in the midst of winter but we all had the best time ever. The Cottage is gorgeous and the wood-burning stove made it super cosy, the kids adored playing on the trampoline for hours on end. We discovered some stunning countryside walks and forests and quaint old Kentish pubs serving amazing food - we all want to come back already. Really organised hosts too - thank you !

A true secret garden

We stayed at the Plantagenet cottage the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and then with my husband for a complete get away. It was so special from start to finish! The cottage is hidden away from the real world, very peaceful. The garden is fantastic, with beautiful views out into the Eastwell manor grounds. Inside everything was clean and perfectly presented. So many original features and nods the older building with modern features to make cooking and relaxing nice and easy. Everything labelled clearly which is great, no confusion over keys, cupboards or lights. Tim was just leaving when we arrived and it was a pleasure to meet before we unpacked and settled in. A few helpful tips with the pool which was great, we got straight in and it was absolutely divine! I cannot fault our stay in any way, it was perfect. Thank you Tim and Maite.

Absolutely perfect holiday location

We went away as a family, two young kids and couldn’t fault it. Very private and out of the way, with lots of stuff a short drive away, including Ashford shopping centre and town. The pool is huge with lots of toys and fun things to use, already at the cottage. Lovely swing, trampoline and other various toys and bits around and in the cottage. The pictures don’t do it justice, the garden is huge and be prepared to get your steps in walking around it! Inside the cottage is beautiful and really gives you the home feeling while being on holiday. The hosts were 100% perfect with great communication and extremely welcoming. From the start of the booking process to the checking out, it was stress free and so easy. We appreciate everything that was done and how easy it all was. Thank you so much for the amazing experience and hope to come back in a couple of years for longer!

Girls Weekend

Everything we hoped it would be

This is a lovely house in a great location and comfortably fit the wife and I, my three young boys, the in-laws and their dog. It felt bigger than the pictures online which was great and the features within gave it real character. All was clean and ready for us with the owners communication great and overall very welcoming. The real highlight of this property though is the garden. While the enclosed pool was perfect, the best word to describe the garden is magical. You felt in your own little world and the kids and dog loved it especially. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return with both my family or with a group of friends. We had the most wonderful stay at this property. The house is just perfect for a family get away and so peaceful. The gardens are huge and the pool is just great! We didn’t leave our whole stay and had the most relaxing time ever! Hosts were lovely and very good communication. Highly recommend. :-)

Perfect Tranquil location with private pool

Plantagenet Cottage is an amazing place to stay, lovely bedrooms (very comfy beds), a big garden with views of the sunset towards Eastwell Manor and a great private swimming pool. It’s such a tranquil location, perfect for relaxing by the pool or enjoying a barbecue in the garden. The cottage has been lovingly restored with great original features and everything you could need in the kitchen. Tim is a great host, quick to respond to any questions, gave really clear instructions on how to find the cottage and checking we had everything we needed. The cottage was clean and tidy, with a lovely welcome basket on arrival - even including dog treats for my friend’s dog. I really can’t recommend highly enough!

Girls weekend

Had a lovely time staying at this cottage, the hosts have been great communicating and re-arranging our stay date due to lockdowns too. Felt like our own little space tucked away from everyone else with the massive garden and private pool area to enjoy. Beds were comfy too! Would definitely recommend.

Everything you need in a wonderful setting

Just spent a few days at this beautiful cottage. We had lovely weather so able to get the most out of spending time in the pool and wonderful garden. Great walk - just pop over the ladder. The cottage has everything you need and immaculately clean. Would love a return visit as lots to do round this area but could equally happy to just stay in the cottage.

Wonderful stay beautiful place!

3 generations loved staying here! The garden was just perfect for our kids despite typical bad weather! Tim was brilliant at communicating, we had a slight issue with the pool and he sent somebody straight over to remedy it. The trampoline kept my kids (and their grandparents!) entertained for hours. Beautiful surprise of being able to walk all round the old golf course and manor grounds over the fence We loved it! thank you !

Perfect holiday - Amazing cottage

Myself, my family and friends recently stayed in the cottage and we had the best time. From the minute we booked Tim was always on hand to answer any questions we had. The cottage itself was immaculate, and the personal touches such as sweets on the children's beds, fresh pastries on arrival, chargers plugged in for our use etc were fab. We stayed for the week and barely left the cottage as the children were having so much fun in the pool. 100% would recommend this property for a UK break. Location is fab for days out although we did not make the most of that as we had brilliant weather so stayed by the pool most days.
