“The property was of an ideal size for us and our 15 months baby. It is very quite, surrounded by fruit trees orchards and farm fields. Despite arriving later than expected, Steve was present to welcome us and brief us on the house an surroundings. The cottage is in good condition, especially the kitchen and bathroom that look almost new. The kitchen is very well equipped. We even had the pleasant surprise of finding fresh milk, local apple juice and cross buns which were great for our first...

“Sarah and her son were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely cottage in a great setting too. Good size and dog/family friendly. Comfy bed & sofa & the equipped kitchen was handy. Would certainly stay again!”

“The flat is just as pictured. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, and it was spotlessly cleaned. There is some street noise, but that will be the case anywhere in the city center. I only mention it so I can share the tip to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Communication with Deborah was fast and smooth. The location is perfect—a few minutes walk to anywhere in the city center. Highly recommend.”

“The Old Schoolroom is restored with much care and taste resulting in a very comfortable cottage. There are lots of public footpaths to explore when stepping out the door and beaches and Canterbury are within a short drive through the very beautiful landscape. The hosts are very friendly and everybody seems to be raving about the welcome tray and fresh cut flowers... and they are right to :-)”

“This is a lovely peaceful location which is also dog friendly. The cottage has everything you need. The location is very rural so transport is needed, but that means its very peaceful and relaxing. The historic City of Canterbury is nearby & this is an ideal base to explore north Kent. The garden outdoors, although shared between 3 properties is entirely enlcosed so its possible to let your dogs run free. There is a hot-tub (although we didn't use this). “Lovely find for last minute! The cottage was just perfect for what we needed and loved the bbq and fire pit for us to do ourselves, very quiet and is so isolated for location, you could hear a pin drop. Lovely hosts also that showed us around, very friendly and book with all local information and contact information if we needed any help also! We will definitely come back for longer in The future! ”

Wonderful historical building, with a host who helped us when we got lost (😂 it was way easier than we made it seem!) as well as giving the goods in regards to their pub recommendation. “My wife and I had a wonderful time at Pheasant Lodge in glorious sunshine. The house is very well furnished and has everything you need as a guest. It is very quietly situated in the hinterland, but you can quickly drive to the most beautiful places and castles in Kent and to the wonderful hiking trails in the Kent Downs and at Saxon Shoreway by the sea. "Posto incantevole, questo edificio immerso nel verde, stuttura con un suo stile, albergo in parte in ristrutturazione, parte delle camere gia ristrutturate, la nostra nonostante è stata ancora da ristrutture presenta un arredamento in stile confortevole e sopratutto pulita. Parcheggio gratuito all'interno del giardino del hotel, dalla strada si fa un pò di difficoltà a trovare la stradina d'entrata tra gli alberi della strada. In zona abbastanza centrale da poter visitare il centro storico di Canterbury a piedi. "
