“This property is an excellent base for exploring Canterbury. It's quiet and secluded, yet still close to all amenities. The grocery store is a short walk, and the local pub is a great place to unwind after your days adventure. ”

“Ruime woning, goed ingericht, alles aanwezig.De locatie ligt aan een drukke weg, maar in de woning merk je daar weinig van. Van hieruit zijn veel plaatsen goed bereikbaar, zoals Canterbury, Leeds Castle, Goodnestone en Sissinghurst, maar ook Dover.”

“The photos of two of the bedrooms on the website are from a completely different property. Bedroom 2 in particular is a lot smaller than expected.There was no dishwasher even though one is listed in the property details.We noticed there was a leak in the living room ceiling. This began dripping after we had used the shower in the master bedroom. The crack in the ceiling where the leak was coming through looked like an old crack that had been badly patched over.Television didn’t work properly...

“My family enjoyed staying here. It is convenient to the Canterbury West train station, the pedestrian zone and Canterbury Cathedral. It is on a busy road, so there is no place to park to unload/load luggage from a car, but there is a car park nearby. The house consists of 3 floors, with one bedroom on each floor. The stairs are quite narrow. The kitchen, dining and bathroom are located on the ground floor. There is lots of art decorating the walls. A lovely stereo controlled by Alexa is in the...

“This property was very clean and quiet. The owner is very responsive. One thing to note is the 10am checkout time which is earlier than other home I’ve stayed in previously.”

“A wonderfully maintained barn with ample space and beautiful views of amazing countryside. ”

“Absolutely beautiful property! Spacious grounds, thoughtfully equipped, very well maintained. The pool area was wonderful and warm, and seems to have been recently refurbished. The local pub appears to have closed but it was only a short drive to nearby towns.We enjoyed a very peaceful stay here, thanks a lot.”

“Haus, Wintergarten und Garten sind sehr schön, ruhig gelegen und es ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, um Canterbury zu erkunden. Das Geschirr war nicht ganz sauber, aber das ist ohne Geschirrspüler leider kein so seltenes Thema.”

“Excellent spacious property, nicely situated within easy walk to pub and village shop. It is a great base for visits to the many nearby coastal resorts .If ,like us, you fancy tapas go to El SOL in beautiful Canterbury. Recommend a cross country walk to the Tadpole Cafe. Like to mention that cottage host James came across as a really nice fella.”

“This place exceeded our expectations. Immaculate, well appointed, and very convenient (3 minute walk) to the cathedral and central areas of Canterbury. Don’t forget to duck…some of the ancient beams are low but that adds to the essential charm of this freshly refurbished historical home. ”

“PROs: great location, easy walk into town, spacious and clean, easy parkingCONs: beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable, few amenities (no bath soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues), did not receive any check in information prior to arriving and had to call to find out how to enter property”

“The house was great, the host was really friendly and we had a great time!”

“All rooms are absolutely huge and well appointed. We spent most of our time in the kitchen / living space which is bright and airy with bifold doors out to a glorious garden. We had a great stay and would recommend it for large family groups. Location-wise, it is literally a 10 minute walk into the city centre.”

"Se cercate il lusso probabilmente non fa per voi, ma la posizione in pieno centro città è perfetta, a pochi minuti da tutti i luoghi di interesse e ristoranti. Il parcheggio, se viaggiate in auto, è a pochi minuti dalla struttura. Camera e bagno piccoli ma il letto era confortevole e il personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, vista anche la colazione inclusa"

"Posto incantevole, questo edificio immerso nel verde, stuttura con un suo stile, albergo in parte in ristrutturazione, parte delle camere gia ristrutturate, la nostra nonostante è stata ancora da ristrutture presenta un arredamento in stile confortevole e sopratutto pulita. Parcheggio gratuito all'interno del giardino del hotel, dalla strada si fa un pò di difficoltà a trovare la stradina d'entrata tra gli alberi della strada. In zona abbastanza centrale da poter visitare il centro storico di Canterbury a piedi. "
