“My husband and I only stayed overnight but wished it had been longer. We were amazed how beautiful the gardens are and we made sure we walked round them and visited the castle before we left. We stayed in the Stable Courtyard and the room was excellent with all the facilities expected of a 5* hotel. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Thanks to all the staff who were helpful and professional.”
“La struttura e del 1600, tutta in legno e veramente tipica. Un bellissimo PUB fa da contorno. Si può mangiare al ristorante o al Pub. L'unica nota negativa che rispetto alla prenotazione mi hanno aggiunto 10 sterline dicendo che c'era un errore nel sito di Hotels.com/Expedia. Hotels.com non risponde e non mi ha richiamato ancora per chiarimenti.

“Saban and Belinda were great hosts. They were very accommodating and paused their laundry so i could do mine between the two different legs of my trip. I neeed to make sure i had enough clean laundry as i would not have access ta any laundry facilities for the next 12 days.

Quest'anno siamo stati accolti caldamente dalla Signora Brown e, vista la disabilità di mia moglie, abbiamo avuto una stanza al piano terreno. Nessun lamentela. Ritornando, l'addetto al reception, Linda, ci ha accolta con un sorriso e non poteva fare abastanza per noi. L'unico problema di cui possiamo lamentare è stato l'odore di "chiuso" in entrambi i casi. Le stanze erano diversi ma...
“Perfect ‘treat’ break … lovely pub/hotel. The weather was superb too! Room was everything we would put on a wish list (it was a great price on our budget so didn’t get church tower & high st views) but everything so easily walkable. Lots cafes restaurants but chose hotel as vg menu choice on a Sunday night! Thanks to all staff who were extremely accommodating & friendly. We will def visit again. ”

“We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable.
The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...
