“This was a perfect place to stay. The grounds are a beautiful place for a nice walk. The location was so quiet, we enjoyed the peacefulness. We picked this place because it was located near Royal Holloway University of London.”

“The flat was functional and good enough for our stay but definitely needs some attention. There was everything we needed in terms of kitchenware, bedding and towels etc but it definitely could have been cleaner. There are patches of damp particularly in the bathrooms and the en-suite shower was boiling hot. The upstairs room, where there are 2 sofa beds, was damp smelling and sparse. The location is perfect, not picturesque but right off the Main Street, 5 minutes walk from the castle and river.”

Dinner at the pub nearby was excellent and morning coffee on the deck was a truly wonderful experience. Enjoying canal life for a day was a pleasure, we will definitely stay again on our next trip.”
