“The upstairs bedrooms were very hot even with air conditioning in 2 of the 3 rooms. I understand that the weather was hotter than usual. The outside area could do with a good tidy-up. The wooden bench seats in some parts are very worn. A great central location enabled us to walk to lots of places, especially the harbour area. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend Hampden Manor to family and friends. Thank you🌸”

“The house was neat, quiet, tidy and clean. I did notice that the hot water did seem to be timed. Occasionally we had to wait for the hot water to heat up, if a few of us were having baths or showers. This was after one or two of us had used the shower or bath. We noticed that the property didn't have an ironing board. There was an iron though. Otherwise it was a great, quiet and comfortable place to stay.”
