“The property was very clean as were the rooms. I liked the pillows! They were not huge and fluffy! Bed was very comfortable. This is a no frills hotel, but again...very clean!!
Only 2 minor complaints: the coffee downstairs in the lobby was very weak and the lobby and elevator (not the rooms) had a faint smell of mothballs. This is the only reason I did not give them a top-rated score.
I will stay in this hotel again!!”

“This is an old property. You can tell that at one point it was an outright gem. Even so, it still has a lot of character and some great people working there. My first room wasn't the cleanest... I think the staff might have forgotten to finish up in the bathroom as another guest's clothes were hanging from the shower rod. I was pretty much going to ignore that because you can't beat the room price, and everything else was acceptable. I happened to walk by the front desk, and the attendant asked...

“The room was fantastic. Comfortable and clean. The pool was really nice as well. The rest of the place needs maintenance. All the elevators were out. I did find at least on ice machine working, so that was useful, but I had to look on several floors. The front desk person was overworked and overwhelmed. The breakfast was just typical. No eggs except cold hard boiled. Overall, a decent stay, but the climb to the fourth floor got old and carrying my luggage down the stairs was inconvenient.”
