“This cottage was a wonderful way to enjoy the area during the day and retreat to quiet a bungalow at night. We’d catch the sunset out past pudding creek and head back to the warmth and serenity of the cottage. A great place to sip morning coffee, read a book, and listen to music. It is clean and well appointed with towels, linens, and kitchen supplies. The heater is very efficient in warming up too! Spencer was very communicative - checking in and out was a breeze. “My two grown sons and I try to get up to the Ft. Bragg area for a few days every year about this time, and we found this place to be just about perfect in every way. Owners John and Wendy were excellent hosts, both friendly and accommodating. The house itself had tons of character, something I always look for in accommodations when we stay there in that area. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

“Great location just north of downtown Fort Bragg. This two bedroom cottage is a two minute drive to the beach. The yard is fenced in so my kids could play outside in a secure area. The house was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Great food in Fort Bragg, and you are minutes away from numerous beaches and other adventures.”

“This immaculate, well-appointed house was a delight to stay in during our visit to the Fort Bragg/Mendocino area. Even before arriving, the communications with the owner were exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. The property itself is much prettier than the photos suggest, and everything worked smoothly from check-in to check-out. The location is so convenient for all the activities on the coast, and even just staying at home relaxing and enjoying the house and yard is a vacation in itself....

“We had a lovely time staying at Sea Gate in Westport. The house was perfectly appointed, warm and cozy, bright and friendly. “Visited with family during labor day weekend and everyone loved the stay. The location of the property is absolutely amazing with access to many beautiful beaches in close proximity. The property does full justice to the surrounding views of mountain, ocean and star gazing in the night. It was clean and well maintained. We heard the tv from one room and the conversations from the other. Also, though the rooms are no smoking, one neighbor was smoking on his balcony so we were not able to leave our door open to enjoy the breeze.
