It was an amazing experience. Geltrude was great
This hotel is a true gem ! You feel like you’ve welcomed into a family palace. Geltrude, the owner was super attentive all the time. The room was amazing and super clean, even the scent of the room was curated and delicious! Every detail was great ! My only suggestion would be to add double windows because it can get a little noisy sometimes.

Thank you very much also for your suggestion, wich is really important. Our choise during the renovetion was to keep everthimg was possible to mantain from the past, included the old glasses of the window. So, if on side oue choise guarantees the authenticity of this place and of its history (old window glasses have boubles that you can see, immaging that 100 years ago somene was whatching through the same glass window) on the other side that choise can results uncofortable for some guests. so thank you very much for you advice, we will seriusly value properly to change the window glasses because we really want our guests have the best stay ever ;)thank you again! I hope to meet you again in the future. all the best

It was very disappointing, as due to Covid-19 we were the only guests! So all the usual amenities, such as the bar and reception were shut up, which felt very strange. However, the owner couldn't have tried harder to make everything as nice as possible. We also had a fantastic room, overlooking the church.

a vie de château au cœur des Pouilles.
Tout était parfait ! Un accueil et une qualité de service hors norme dans ce très beau palais Geltrude,la maîtresse des lieux toujours disponible pour nous donner les bons conseils. L’endroit idéal pour visiter Lecce et rayonner dans la région.

Palazzo luxury you can experience
If you want to experience living in a beautifully maintained 16th century palazzo, this is the place. Very personal, caring service and great wifi. Would stay there again.

B&B - but not as we normally know it!!
The Palazzo is in a good location within easy walking distance of the attractions of Lecce. The interior is stunning and spacious, the rooms stunning. Bedrooms are large and well appointed and breakfast in the amazing dining room an experience in it's own right. Geltrude the owner and Simone her "right hand man" are charming and helpful to a fault. This is the closest you're liable to get to being royalty!

A true gem in a charming town
If I could give Palazzo Guido a higher rating, I would: excellent plus. This little gem is truly one of the best places for the value we have ever stayed. The owner and staff treated us like family and they were the consummate hosts. We were contacted before our stay to ensure that someone would be there to greet us. When we arrived, the owner, Geltrude, immediately checked us in and carried our bags to our room. She provided us with a welcome bottle of wine, snacks, and a plethora of useful information. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and stocked with all the amenities one could want. The Palazzo itself was stunning; like stepping back into an elegant historic time.The location was convenient and central. Everything we asked for, Geltrude immediately provided. She booked our dinners, suggested walking tours and arranged for a massage on site. Breakfast was incredible. We had a wide variety to choose from and could also order cooked meals off the menu. Highly, highly, highly recommended.
