“The Big Deck is exactly the place for some RNR perfect spot amazing views bach has all you need dated but perfect for that kiwi bach experience by the beach ⛱️ was clean and tidy plenty of space so just perfect for us host was lovely great to communicate with everything went smooth even with a last min request to take the fur babies 😊 thanks so much Hine nd John we had such a nice break away the bach was awesome we did not want to leave just pecfect 👍😊👌”

“Our third time to visit, hopefully WIFI will be added to the property. The neighbours dog was bold, making its way throught the back door to pull out the garbage. He wasn't deterred when shooed away, the owner heard me and took control of the dog”

“A super clean, tidy, and comfortable place to stay in laid back Kawhia, The ever changing view over the harbour as the tide rolled in and out was very relaxing and even though the fishing trip was cancelled due to the big swell we had some quality time to chill out. Many thanks to Patsy, our hostess for the part she played in making our stay very special. Jenny”

“This was a great place to chill out, with a wonderful outlook over Aotea Harbour and very quiet at this time of year (end April). Neat and clean with very a well equipped kitchen. It was comfortable for our stay but expect it could get very hot in summer, and be cold in winter (only one small panel heater for a large space).”

“My wife and I stayed at Whale Bay Surf Bach for 4 nights in April and agreed it was one of the best stays we have ever had. The location and views are incredible. Nothing beats checking the surf from your bed, taking a private entrance to one of the best breaks in the country, and then relaxing in the jacuzzi with ocean views. The property itself was very clean and had all the right amenities. Hope to return again soon!”
