Hotel vicino a Moses Myers House - Norfolk

“This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay.”

“The staff were polite and helpful. However, the hotel did not have an accessible room with a waterside view. I booked two rooms, we had to call down to reception to have the rooms cleaned two days in a row. The entire hotel needed to be overhauled and renovated, it appeared very run down. I have family who resides in the area and I would not stay there again.”

“Nothing is a hassle here. The parking isnt a hassle. Checking isn't a hassle. Rooms are always on point. Love the art, the restaurants and the gym. The scenery looks good the people look good. This is my go to place when I want this crash in norfolk.”

“The hotel is very well centrally located. I stayed for one night on a work trip. Unfortunately, a group of bikers made a lot of noise around 4:30 a.m., which woke me up. Other than that, my stay was pleasant.”

“I've been going there since in of April or beginning of May since 2025 and honestly it's quite, nice size rooms,nice size T.V.. Good spot for food options if you like McDonald's l, Wendy's,Taco Bell Wawa, honestly the Hardee's ain't all that MF's had one job SMH. The hotel has good and Kind Staff, but I have to say the one guest thing is a bit disappointing I mean at least three guests hell just do two guest and see how it goes. My fiance son couldn't come see her because of the one guest...

“Military Circle Econo Lodge violated a number of norms, including a KIOSK with bot-like person on the other end of a ZOOM-like connection (as opposed to an actual person on site to check us in, and solve problems); no soap; faucet not attached to the sink; dirty sheets in our first room; BLOODY SHEETS in purported replacement room (we have photos to prove it); smoke oozing from the walls (in both rooms, which conspicuously contained ashtrays, despite a NO SMOKING booking); and NO HUMAN STAFF ON...

“They cancelled my reservation and didn’t even tell me. I traveled across the country to find out at 11pm my room was cancelled. Absolutely ridiculous!!”

“The place is a crackhouse …..not a place to stay on vacation especially with a family and young children. There was a party outside my room and I was afraid to open the door. Thank God I had my Dog with me, she is a good watchdog so I felt a little better. Stayed one night not two as planned.”

“When I got there at 9PM, I was told that there wasn't any available rooms & that Expedia overbooked them. Instead of helping or guiding me on how to find a place so late in the day or even show any sort of sympathy to the situation, the staff told me to call expedia and then walked away.. Expedia customer service was great but the staff at this hotel was useless.”

“The room was really dirty. A corner of the room had a bunch of trash. The walls were really dirty as well. Our toilet stopped working after a few hours and we had to switch rooms. That room wasn’t much better. The shower heads and towels were good.”

“Room was modestly clean at best. My room was not refreshed during my stay. Beds were not made and used towels I placed on the floor remained on the floor. Hotel has outdoor room access. I was unable to sleep due to several other hotel patrons outside my room talking loudly and carrying on between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM. I was told by staff it was my responsibility to call police to control the situation. I will not stay at another Econo Lodge based on my experience.”

“I chose this hotel for its price. I think it was a little overpriced for the condition of the facility. As there is a no-smoking policy in the building there were quite a few people hanging around the front/side of the building to smoke, which gave it a shady vibe. The staff was nice, the bed was comfy but the room showed wear and tear and could use an update. Ex: the walls were repainted but only in certain areas - meaning if you're going to paint - paint the whole wall, not just the right...
