“We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️”

“Very nice modern hotel but our room was cold, I turned up the thermostat but didn’t make any difference until I tuned it to 24o, I’m not sure if it’s controlled by reception? bar staff were lovely and there was 50+ booked for dinner, there were no reserve signs on the tables apart from the birthdays being held so we nearly ran out of seats, but overall it was a lovely stay.”

“It's a nice place with lots of free parking, a great heated pool and spa, rooms a little bit worn, but still nice, clean and comfortable, good value for money”

“I arrived late the key was in the door bed side lights and heating on A beautiful and calm retreat which was just what I needed.”

“The property was easy to find and has off road parking for each unit which was great. It is slightly older but had everything that was needed for a pleasant stay. ”

“Great location to explore NP and beautifully appointed. Loved the access to the gym around the corner. I thought it might be noisy being so central but didn’t hear a peep. Hope to return. ”

“Great central location in the centre of the city. Room was clean but just a few little things that would make all the difference - kids handprints in the mirror, fittings on the spa bath a bit old/discolored, toilet seat hand-modified to fit. Not majors but just makes it feel a little bit less than an excellent experience for the price paid. Staff were lovely and room was very adequate for our weekend stay. Probably best avoided if you can't handle inner city noise, cars, Saturday night...

“Late check-in process was easy and reception staff member was so helpful and personable. Love the parking on the roof - so much safer than on the street - and clean, tidy rooms. Very comfortable bed. Nga mihi nui.”

“Love the location of the hotel and the complimentary bike ride is definitely a plus point for us to explore the coastal walkway and the city. Having a sauna at the end of the day is just the perfect way to wind down and relax.”
