“We booked a 2 bedroom suite, after checking in and going to dinner, we arrived back with water flooding the main bathroom. They did upgrade us to a different room the next day and provided 30% off the room rate but for the price of this hotel I would have hoped to not experience something like this. You could tell that the bathroom ceiling has had a leak before. 30% off for unusable bathroom and listening to water dripping in bucket all night was not enough.”

“What a beautiful property! The building had great character and was immaculate. It was location very near lots of shops and things to do, but being a block over from the very busy area it was perfectly quiet and low key. We loved the Alida.”

“Please note that, although Expedia filters search results for “pet-friendly” properties, this hotel (Palmetto Charleston) only accepts dogs. They will very “kindly” turn you away and tell you to find another place. After driving nearly 300 miles, that’s not exactly a warm welcome.”
