“We absolutely loved our room as we had a water view. The weather was so nice that we slept with the windows open and surprisingly the night life was not loud even though we were in the Main Street to shopping and bars/grills. We loved hearing the horses clomp through the streets, very peaceful. The room was nice, only drawback was queen size bed as we are used to a king and no fridge. The Murray hotel is centrally located which was really nice! The fudge store in the lobby had the best fudge...

I called to add an extra day since we would be arriving early they were unable to give us the same room booked for the next two days I understand but when I checked in to the other room at 7am it was ready??? “The rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable. The hot tub felt like we were getting drowning in chemical fumes… the whole pool area honestly just felt stuffy. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast! About 15 minute walk to St.Ignace downtown which was great! All around, we are very pleased with our time.”

“Great property, love the log cabin type feel to the room. Extremely clean and well maintained room. Perfect place to stay on a trip to the Mackinaw area.”

“Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again.”
