“Beautiful location up in the hills , views , quiet , relaxing . Staff is very friendly and helpful . Pool was great , very very clean . Food was good , I recommend the short ribs ♥️♥️one of the best I’ve had . It was a wonderful little weekend get away , I will definitely be going back , loved it !”

“What an amazing, peaceful stay at Simpson House! The staff was wonderful, making us feel extra special for our anniversary. They gave us helpful recommendations and were just so nice and wonderful. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It’s like your staying in the middle of magical garden. It’s also walking distance to State St shops and restaurants. 5 stars all the way!”

“Great location on State Ave and near downtown and UC Santa Barbara. Outdated looking hotel but inside is nicer than exterior. The AC didn’t work initially and we woke up feeling stuffy and hot. The windows were difficult to open but by design. When AC final worked the room was much cooler. The extra room with kitchenette was awesome. No hot tub and pool looks small. Will come back again. The price was right.”

“It was good enough for a night halt, clean. Front desk provided extra blanket and towels when requested, however , toiletries were pathetic. Only soap bar which was worst. There were some packets of shampoo which I used as body wash”

“We decided to extend our trip, stay one more night and found this place and couldn’t have gotten luckier! It is absolutely adorable! The wallpaper, the outside patio, the kind ladies running it, all so beautiful! The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious and so nice of them to do. It is in a nice, quiet, slow area, perfect for a restful getaway. I already recommended it to a friend because of cute it was so if you are considering stay here, book it! You will not be disappointed!”

“This was our second stay at Pali House Santa Barbara. It’s our favorite place to stay! I would have given this most recent stay 5 stars except we were not told there was a wedding reception happening the one night we were there which included closing the entire patio area. There was quite a bit of noise/music but I will give the hotel credit for ensuring the music went off at 10:00pm. Other than that, we had an amazing time! Will stay again.”
