“We stayed for 1 week at Emmanuel's place. We started communicating on WhatsApp prior to arriving at the location - I just punched his number into WhatsApp and started texting. We also got recs on a nearby boulangerie. We had a midnight check in which went smoothly. Upon checking in our group could tell that we were visiting someone's home rather than a vrbo that was just bare bones. There was a ton of personal touches and books which made us feel we were at home. There is a bar across the street...

“Check in instructions were not clear and needed to call and ask for help to locate the apartment. The entrance is a red facade with a sign for a playhouse above the door. The apartment is right on a very busy staircase which means there is street noise all night long. The apartment itself is in a very old building and musty but has been nicely renovated and comfortable. ”
