“End of season special. Perfect size, fireplace was great on a cold rainy night. Last night restaurant was open for a few weeks.”

“My husband and I along with our kids and some friends had a wonderful time staying at this villa for a week. Lots of things to do on the Trapp Family property as well as in Stowe. “We really enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the well organized Activity Room with the coloring sheets, blocks, access to the large screen tv. We only had one issue and that was the lighting at night entering the pool area. We had mentioned at our stay in April 2023 that it made if very difficult to walk there from our condo and were surprised it was not resolved. But hopefully, the painting of the floor pool is a good sign that the renovations are under way. Other than that, we always were...

“This was such a great find! First time staying at a ski resort and it was perfect! Really enjoyed the ski in / ski out. We had beautiful views from our room complete with balcony overlooking the slopes! Loved the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs. Fire pits outside were also nice to have. Very cozy atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the hotel.”

“Very old property but nicely renovated. A bit too pricey for the accommodation. The included breakfast was good. I was forced to book late because my booking in Chester cancelled and left me with little time or choice. I was told it was due to renovations not complete. Not ideal. I do not think reservations should be accepted if the property is not ready for occupancy.”

“We have stayed at Stoweflake in April for the past few years. It is becoming a family tradition! We love the accommodations - rooms are quiet, bed are very comfortable, room is spacious for our family of 4. I love the gym and use it daily, and we enjoy racquetball and billiards as a family. Location is easy to access many great dining locations, downtown shopping, and the Recreation path for walks or biking. The resort could use some updates, but it is still a great spot for us. “Overall we were very happy with our stay. Very clean unit, everything worked well, ski locker storage was nice, easy check in and check out process. A bit far from the Village (not walkable), but the shuttle was very helpful, driving and parking was not a problem.”
