DEFINITELY fantastic compared to what you might expect in the area, and better than many big city hotels, too. “We were off season by a week, so the Village of Freeport was mostly closed, however the Inn was open. The staff was accommodating, the main lobby was warm and friendly and the Tavern served excellent food. It was also a block before the Village started and 2 or 3 blocks from LL Bean.”

“Non saprei… senza infamia e senza lode… da fuori sembra molto bello, si affaccia su una piazzetta privata, ma dentro non è esattamente quello che mi aspettavo. Le parti comuni avevano decisamente bisogno di una bella passata di aspirapolvere, senza parlare dei mobili con sopra un dito di polvere e ventilatori per l’umidità accatastati un po’ ovunque… nella stanza il water continuava a lasciar scorrere acqua e abbiamo chiesto che qualcuno venisse ad aggiustarlo (se lo hanno fatto non hanno avuto...

“We stayed for one night in room 107, which has a handsome brick wall, a nice TV, a heating/cooling system that works fast and well, a jetted tub in the bathroom, a microwave, a Keurig, and a nice little table and chairs apart from the sleeping area. The room was exceedingly clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed, and the desk staff held our bags for us before check-in and after check-out while we wandered before our bus out of town. The breakfast was modest in selection but very nice...

I spent three nights there, and there was no room service, no water replacement, no towels replacement, no breakfast included, no park included… just one bedroom with restroom that I had to set up by myself, for more than 300$ per night!
