“We stayed one night to see Bruce Springsteen in Sunderland. Didn’t get time to use the hotel facilities as we were running late but what we did see and experience was very good, clean and tidy. “Stayed with my wife for our anniversary and was upgraded to a large room. The hotel was lovely inside and the building itself felt grand. It was clean and fresh. Breakfast was cooked with attention to detail. The location was perfect for the centre which was a short 2 min stroll away. Very close to cathedral and river walk/resturants/bars. Car park on site. Highly recommend this place! ”

“Beautiful parkland and excellent room and facilities - we enjoyed the spa and gym too. The gym was well supplied with machines and weights. All the staff were friendly and helpful and catered for a number of special requests. A shame we were there on a Monday night when the Orangery restaurant was not open as we would like to have tried it. Would definitely recommend.”

“L'hotel si presenta bene, è ben tenuto, sembra tutto abbastanza nuovo ed è pulito. Tuttavia se dovessi tornare proverei un'altro hotel, in questo c'è lo stretto necessario ma non c'è aria condizionata, frigo bar e nella mia stanza le lampadine del bagno erano quasi tutte rotte, ne funzionava una sola. Evidente stato di mancanza di cura nell'accoglienza degli ospiti.”
