“The property is wonderful! The location was perfect for us, it is 10 miles north of town so it was quiet and intimate. The staff was AMAZING! I cannot say enough how fabulous every single person (staff) there was. The food at the bar was so fresh and delicious, we have been home for one day and miss it badly. If you are looking for a friendly, clean, relaxing place to stay, this is it.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sapphire resort. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive to any need. The tiki bar was fun. Our unit was extremely outdated. “We went for spring break and daughters 16th birthday trip. April 2024. We had never been to Belize but wanted a house and not in town. Well this is definitely not in town. 12 miles north along the coast, and secluded.(3 houses close by). House a little rustic but has AC and WiFi. “The staff here is amazing. The location is great if you like remoteness (like we do); makes sure to take some strong bug spray. The dock/pier is wonderful, and the snorkelling right off the end of it is amazing! We saw several large southern stingrays, yellow rays and many different species of fish all within about 30 ft of the dock.”

“We felt very welcomed. Everyone that was employed by Playa del sol was very friendly, helpful, accommodating to our needs. The owner Iz and his wife Shea are friendly and want to make sure your stay is perfect. I highly recommend staying there. The food that was prepared for was delicious. Fernando was our bartender and he was friendly and made me the best Cuba libre. David and Oscar was of captain and guide for our fishing and snorkeling trips. Could no5 of asked for a better place to stay.”

“The resort was really lovely. The restaurant food was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. As the resort is a 45-50 min. ride by golf cart from town, quests do need to be mindful of how much gas is in the tank. There is no place nearby to fill your tank -- you will have to ride back to town for refills. It would be a fun ride if the roads where not in such bad shape. They are not paved and there are many potholes. The beach out front was so choppy and turned up we weren't able swim...
