“Beautiful Cabin and super clean. The family enjoyed every thing about it!!”

“Didn’t have coffee available in the room and room could use some fumigation.”

“When we stay only for night , off course we had log drive, no staff only one young lady too much slow and by mistake she gave us dirty uncleaned room first floor, we already tired we went back she was bussy w some guest, after 15 mint again came my turn I shows room pic she surprise , off course she don’t know but whole activity waste my 30 mint , otherwise room is good breakfast was good we came 8:15 next early norning 6: am we left”

“Property & room were clean & well kept. Staff was friendly & helpful. Due to a previous tornado, the pool was not yet ph balanced for use. The dining room was beautiful but the food offered was less than desirable, we checked out without eating.”

“Clean room. Very loud HVAC. Front desk personnel need more training so that room numbers are not announced when key cards are presented. People standing nearby should not be treated to instant knowledge of one's arrangements. Complimentary breakfast was a joke. Nasty assortment of junky micro-pastries, a few personal packets of peanut butter, what looked like pre-cooked mystery omelets waiting in the small fridge for reheating, some sugary cereals, and not much else. Nice people, but this...

“For the price I got a clean bed, cool ac, and everything I needed for a good rest.”

“The shower pressure was weak, but other than that it was perfect. Comfortable bed, nice jet tub for relaxing, gym and pool onsite. I wish they had guest laundry. Breakfast was good (waffle, cereal, eggs, yogurt, toast, etc).”

“Second time staying here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean room and linens. Breakfast offerings are typical generic fair. Dry cereal, pastries, scrambled eggs, waffle maker, etc. They did have a very, very nice selection of lovely high-quality teas available. Orange juice was very good.”

“Personally, I feel the Shelby Inn is a bait and switch. The pictures and write up of the "historic inn" make one think they are staying in some cool historic building, while the room I got was in a motel immediately behind the inn itself... The room was clean, and the location was very convenient, but I was shocked pulling up to my room and realizing I spent $152 for a night in a room in a motel in Shelbyville, Illinois...”

“Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet had hot/cold options but I was a bit disappointed that apples were the only fruit available on in July. That’s a minor complaint, though.”

“Room was clean, but a bit dated. Breakfast was ok, but hot food wasn’t great. Worst thing was the incredibly loud, creaky elevator that was close to my room!”
