The shades in my room were awful. Lastly, the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes and the people staying there were sketchy as hell.”

“The best thing about this property is the location, meaning it’s close to Smith College and a nice walk to downtown (if you don’t mind a relatively long hilly walk, which I like). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The negatives were a somewhat absent and disinterested staff, a lingering smell (unpleasant) throughout the hotel (I opened the windows in our room to alleviate the smell), and the overall tired look of the facility - cracks in the ceiling, peeling...
