Everything stood out, from the way the attractive artwork perfectly matched the accent wall, to the ambience of the communal dining room, the comfort of the bed and pillows, the soft orange glow of the fireplace in the dark when I walked in to the room for the first time - care and attention to detail was evident in every spotless crevice. Breakfast was fun and delicious, every moment in the room whole working or relaxing was quiet and delightful. 10/10”

“The bedroom and entire first floor living area was clean and nicely appointed in period decor. The self-check in process was simple and convenient. Lastly, the staff went above and beyond to find and quickly mail back my forgotten prescription eyeglasses to my home address. Will definitely stay here again if visiting the pioneer valley. ”

“The staff/owners of River Valley Inn are so incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful! I ended up having to check in much later than anticipated, but they made sure I had no issues getting access to my room. When I had issues with a key card malfunctioning due to the cold weather, once again the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a new working card immediately. The room was clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised. I will stay here again!”

“We loved everything about our stay. Our hosts were very kind, and put generous effort into providing delicious breakfasts, giving suggestions about local attractions, and allowing us as much or as little cat time as we wanted. The room we were in was very cozy, with a comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches such as a water kettle for tea or coffee, a small fridge, and a TV setup we didn’t take advantage of. We even considered canceling our dinner reservations to stay in! This is the perfect place to get away from the noise and busyness of the world.
