“Other than the night paving project taking place outside the hotel, the stay was okay. The hotel is not responsible for the timing of the project, but it might be mindful to assign rooms furthest from the main drag.”

I always have given my license when asked at hotel but have never seen it kept like that. My room was 316. Went up to the 3rd floor and could not find my room. “The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was unexpected since the hotel is advertised as smoke-free. Additionally, both the bathtub and the sink were clogged, making the stay less comfortable than expected.”

“It was a clean room and had all the amenities, I also liked that they provided some snacks as I came in late night. The only issue I had was when other people closed their doors it sounded like someone was hitting my door.”

“The place was fine--I don't demand much of a hotel. It is basically a place to sleep. However, more discerning travelers might have been upset by the fact that the supplemental door lock didn't work, one of the shelves in the closed was broken and the one day out of four that we had maid service, they seemed to only half finish the job. They may be very short of staff.”

“This hotel is in a great location. The staff was nice and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Quiet location even though it’s on the main road. There was a nice pool and small gym area and a cute outdoor sitting space that was enjoyable in the later evening. A small bar/breakfast area if you needed it. Great hotel for a night or two.”

“Quaint and comfortable stay for our one night in the most adorable town of Shelburne Falls. A walk to the river and the bridge of flowers at sunset gave us the most beautiful pictures. Owner was kind and helpful. We stayed here while my son biked at Thunder Mountain-a quick easy 10 min drive away and would stay again.”

“This is one of the best country inns we ever tried: charming, cozy and friendly. The atmosphere is authentic and warm, as are the owners. The country and the woods surrounding are great, even the breakfast is excellent! We loved the room and also the sitting room, full of beautiful books.”

“Very nice, big room. Clean, modern, pleasant, with kitchenette and sofa area. My only disappointment was that they don't provide housekeeping on the first night of your stay. We only stayed for two nights so two receptionists both said they'd request it, but didn't happen.”
