“OMG, fantastic experience. Highly, highly recommend the couple owners and the property. They bought it in 2017 and went through a massive renovation. Clean, presentable, and well cared for. I was in Tellico for a local motorcycle rally and originally was going to camp - packed my tent, sleeping bags, etc. When I checked the weather, there was a high chance of rain, and I didn't want to set up in it. “I traveled constantly for many years and have stayed at hundreds of different properties, and at this price point, The Mallard Hotel is among the nicest I’ve stayed in. Clean, comfy, modern and a nice covered seating area outside with beautiful views. Highly recommend!”

“The cabin was much more than expected. You could not find a bigger slice of home anywhere on the ocoee River. Bigfoot cabins are the way to go. A fully stocked house with charcoal grills, plates silverware. Rainfall shower head. Again I cannot recommend this place highly enough to satisfy how nice it is.”

“Everything as expected. Got in at midnight and left at 7. No time to enjoy pool. Breakfast fair but comfort inn standard”

“This is a hotel for river rafters and people with dogs. The staff is super kind and helpful, but the room was gross. There was a dirty sock from a previous visitor upon check in. Super convenient access to Cherokee National Forest, but do not expect a super clean room.”
