B&B a Bourne End

“The refurbishment by the new owners is complete and has been very well done. We have stayed both before (comfy, convenient but run down) and after, this is our second time with the new owners. Now very comfortable and a pleasure to stay. Excellent location for Bray eateries and lovely spot on the river. Garden down to the river is particularly nice on a good day with nice outdoor seating. Perfect all round and well done the young staff.”

“After a bad start (we arrived late - after a phone call in wich they say "don't worry if you arrive until 9pm someone will be there" and then nope...we arrived at half past 8 but nobody was in there and we had to make another 2 phone calls to have the key for the room...) all was just great! Room was clean nice and comfortable. Also on the ground floor ther is a kitchen for the guest where is possibile to make some coffee or tea and using microwave. breakfast is hude and very good...you can...

“E' stato un bel soggiorno. Ambiente accogliente, pulito e personale molto educato che cercava di metterti sempre a tuo agio. Nel pub si vive la tipica atmosfera inglese.”

“Lontano 5km dal Festival Reading. Bisogna prendere il taxi sempre perché si trova in campagna. La corsa a Reading station o Reading festival costa 10£. Internet è incluso soltanto nella reception. Non ci habno communicato questa cosa e abbiamo dovuto pagare 3£ a giorno a telefono. Per il resto molto bello e decorato con gusto.”

“Surprisingly spacious accommodation in what is an old building whose size is not obvious from its frontage. Old building means slanting floors, but that adds to the character. Close to both Chertsey Green, for a pleasant walk, as well as all important town amenities. ”

“When we arrived in High Wycombe, we passed a lovely house with beautiful wisteria blooming all along the sidewalk. We parked, then walked to a pub at the end of the street. After a fun meal in the open air, we left the pub searching for the Malvern House. We were delighted to discover that the wisteria house was indeed our destination. The gentleman who greeted us was very kind and welcoming. Our ground floor room was just right. We stayed two nights, and revised the pub down the street....

“Camera molto ampia arredata in modo direi tipicamente inglese (che personalmente non mi entusiasma, ma è una questione di gusti) con un bel bagno con ampia vasca e comodo box doccia. Quello che fa la differenza in questo posto sono indubbiamente le persone: dal titolare (sempre presente in struttura e disponibile ad ascoltare ogni richiesta degli ospiti o anche solo a scambiare quattro chiacchiere) a Peter (impeccabile alla reception e attento ad ogni richiesta, che ricorda il nome di tutti gli...
