Hotel a Brick

“I mean, it was an inexpensive hotel option off the side of the divided highway I booked last minute. It was relatively clean, but you could see where maintenance corners had been cut (wall patches, uneven towel rack, floor scratches where new dresser was dragged in, etc.). At the end of the day, the staff was nice, the location was good, the lights and water worked, and it was pretty clean. All things considered, it was fine for the price, but I'm sure you could do better.”

“Coming to Belmar for the first time and expecting a quaint little hotel. Instead, we were welcomed with the lovely scent of cigarettes and run down everything. From the lobby to the 10x10 room for $235 a night, everything was a disappointment. Pool was not in working order and completely emptied. If I ever return to Belmar, I will definitely not be staying at this property.”

“Do not book this motel. Our window was broken for the duration of the trip, which was addressed at arrival. We were told maintenance would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up. Someone ended up climbing in through our window at 7am, which is when we discovered the window didn’t even lock. Police were called and they talked to the staff about getting someone to come and fix the window. Our window was broken for our entire weekend trip. This situation actually took up most of our 4th of July....

“The room was average. The bathroom had mold in the shower. I had to call maintenance to come and clean it with bleach. The bathroom had no towel bars, so I had to hang my wet towels and washcloth over the chair. I had to move the iron to another outlet in the room, but after all of the water spilled out of it because the iron shut off. The pillows were uncomfortable and so was the bed. Overall, 1/5 stars.”

“We had one of the most pleasant stays at a hotel that we’ve ever had. We were especially impressed with Tiara and how helpful and accommodating she was during our stay. A real standout!”

“When i stayed for 4th of july there was no electricity. Room temperature at 82°. It was so uncomfortable. When I talked to front desk they said "sorry nothing we can do". I don't understand why it was not taken seriously or maybe call someone to fix the issue. I wish I could get a partial refund because even taking a shower was an issue. So bad.”

“Lights in room and bathroom did not work and front desk was non responsive. I asked to change rooms 15 minutes after attaining in my room and they never responded after promissing to do so. Ground floor common areas were often very damaged or looked worn. At least climate system in room worked.”

“This is okay if you need a last minute place to stay for a night. Room was clean but had a weird smell. Bed was uncomfortable for my man (side sleeper)but I slept well. 30 minutes from BelMawr and Point Pleasant Beaches. The owner was very helpful and attentive to our needs once we arrived. Parking for truckers and a grill area with seating. Great location with stores to grab things you may need. Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree and much more. We would stay again if we NEEDED to. We would definitely...

“I have been to this location/hotel several times and we really like it here. Its only 3 miles to the beach,its clean,they have a great breakfast and free bottled water at the desk. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is super comfortable with a nice size tv. This is our go to jersey shore hotel”
