“I loved the new rooms' style. They smelled fresh and clean but most of all new. Great sensation.”

“Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.”

It is dated, not luxury, but fine for our purposes, and cost is reasonable. Beware some rooms are up a lot of stairs after walking up a steep driveway to reach the property.”

“This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. “Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

“le finestre non chiudevano bene e c'erano spifferi d'aria non trascurabili. in seguito ad un guasto alle prese elettriche, segnalato in mattinata, non è stata fatta alcuna riparazione e in serata ci è stato proposto di cambiare camera. fatto il check out la sera precedente la partenza, al mattino è stata proposta una nuova fattura da pagare (per errore, l'ennesimo)”

“It was during one of the high temperatures inEngland and tho it had two fresh air windows the host only allowed one. a small bathroom size window for ventilation plus a small fan. I asked him to open the other window / door but was denied seeming me to leave the property after one nite due to a high temp room . Host was not very helpful tho I asked to change rooms. Also no shade on deck . Would not stay here again .”
