“Its location was wonderful, eating breakfast looking out over Dunkery Beacon was a joy! The hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained with every need taken care of. We had a wonderful breakfast with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.”

“Everything was great. Maybe a usb charging point might have been good in the room. The only annoying thing was the shower gel dispenser in the bath. It didnt work. Luckily i had my own to hand.”

“Il posto é consigliato per chi vuole socializzare e ballare. Noi invece volevamo dormire tranquilli. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo scoperto che sotto alla nostra camera si teneva una festa di matrimonio, con musica altissima fino a notte fonda. Per fortuna eravamo talmente stanchi da addormentarci di sasso comunque. Camera non pulitissima ( moquette con macchie, un paio di ragnatele con ragni e soprattutto tazze per il the sporche). Personale gentile e disponibile.”

“Our room was excellent - recently decorated with good facilities - our only problem was with the shower (no instructions). We had an evening meal which was very well presented. No breakfast available but there are coffee shops and cafes in the village. The staff were very helpful. We would happily stay here again.”

“Mi hanno svegliato alle 7 di mattina per spostare la macchina nel parcheggio. Con maggiore organizzazione potrebbero sistemare diversamente le auto. Il bagno era in comune anche se avevo chiesto ina camera con bagno in camera”

“Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

“Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.”

“le finestre non chiudevano bene e c'erano spifferi d'aria non trascurabili. in seguito ad un guasto alle prese elettriche, segnalato in mattinata, non è stata fatta alcuna riparazione e in serata ci è stato proposto di cambiare camera. fatto il check out la sera precedente la partenza, al mattino è stata proposta una nuova fattura da pagare (per errore, l'ennesimo)”

“Staff very friendly and helpful, the room was in poor repair without a main light and the extra bed was broken.We are non smokers and they gave us a smoking room that stank of cigarettes smoke.”
