Hotel a San Donato

“We didn’t have breakfast so scored a half way mark as we were not able to skip it in this review. It’s an old Campanile hotel now run by a small group so I support them all the way. It’s handy as the brown road signs are still there directing from the motorway. Still looks outdated but it’s being upgraded. Lidl a short walk away for groceries. It’s on a steep hill so watch out if it’s wet or icy. Could do with two pillows but a bath towel came in handy. TV wasn’t much good with reception and...

Camera con vista purtroppo ridipinta di recente, difficile ignorare l'odore… La struttura dispone anche di palestra e centro benessere, che però non abbiamo provato. “La Struttura e un po datata ma funzionante e funzionale, le camere sono ampie e dotate di tutto cio che serve, la mia non aveva il frigorifero e l'armadietto era piuttosto piccolo. Molto vicino a Cardiff Bay area, raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti. La colazione e varia e ricca (15 pounds ad adulto). ”

“Everything as usual was excellent, However i was disappointed with the standard of the buffet breakfast. On previous occasions we were table served. Breakfast was freshly cooked quite special. Now unfortunately the llanerch breakfast experience has become ordinary and generic and dare i say, not worthy of the £20 charge. Saying all that, we enjoy the lovely spacious rooms, quiet disposition and friendly staff. We will, ofcourse come to stay again. ”

“The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. “Staff very friendly and helpful, the room was in poor repair without a main light and the extra bed was broken.We are non smokers and they gave us a smoking room that stank of cigarettes smoke.”

“Great position in Cardiff downtown. Room was spacious enough and silent but a bit rundown. It probably needs some renovations. Staff was really helpful and kind. Check in and check out were smooth and they also kept my luggage for an additional hour”
