“This place is absolutely filthy, it doesn’t look as though it has been cleaned in over a year. We would not recommend and still waiting for a refund as we left early. Very disappointing. Hotels.com you should take this off your rentals”

“We arrived by train and the hotel is any easy 10 minute walk from the station and then just under 10 minutes to the town centre. The hotel was lovely. I cannot think of anything to be negative about. The room was quiet, the bed comfy and I loved the decor. (We were in a 'clocks' room.) All the staff were pleasant and helpful and there is both a restaurant and bar food. The food in both was very good and slightly unusual. Chester itself is a great place to visit and it is easy to go into...

“Wow what a transformation Imperial Hotel has had. So impressive love the new design of the hotel it is so modern and so bright. So comfortable the new beds, fab decoration in the room, so clean, amazing shower and a huge HD interactive television. Also loved the Welsh cakes, cans of Welsh water, Welsh coffee and quality tea selection. As usual the staff are amazing especially the receptionist. We will definitely stay again.”
