“The staff was very polite, helpful and efficient. The business center was great, no fuss no change - great for printing our boarding passes. The only thing I don't care for (and is common these days at hotels) is if you stay two nights you don't get housekeeping. So we made our own beds in the morning so that it would be comfortable when we returned in the afternoon. I asked for housekeeping, but it didn't happen. “I cannot see why anyone would choose a chain hotel if a room at the Grande Magnolia is available. Our weekend in Benson, NC was exceptional due in large part to staying at the Grande Magnolia. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by a man who knew us by name. We were shown to our room and given a one on one explanation of some of the features and history of the hotel. “Great stopover right off I-95. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was a convenient, stress-free stay. Would definitely stay here again for a quick trip.”

“The room appeared clean. The shower had no caulk around the tub. There was no coffee pot in the room. The curtains were torn. A little TLC would have gone a long way. The decaf coffee was very tasty in the lobby. The front desk attendent was nice and helpful.”

“Third floor has stale smoke aroma to it, hallways and our room. No ice machine available and ice maker in room refrigerator did not produce a single cube during our 3 night stay. Room was nice and clean and good value for the price.”
