“Welcoming staff, personal service from a relatively small hotel. Room was great, hotel also had a complementary taxi sercice to and from events centre on site, which was very welcome as the weather wasn't the best. Breakfast was served quickly by attentive staff. Will definitely be stopping again.”

“The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay”

“My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Buckland Manor. The staff was so lovely, the room was always clean, and the food…unbelievable! The staff was also so kind of let us know about the history of the manor which was fascinating. We have told many friends and family about this place and we will definitely be back. ”

“We stayed just the 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and full of character. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious. The breakfast was also lovely with great views. In all we couldn’t fault the place and will definitely stay again when in the area.”

The service team followed through with our request for one room on the ground level to accommodate my mother who has difficulty walking up stairs AND placed a roll away bed in the second room. “Got in late and left early but the ppl were very kind and efficient The room clean, spacious and not standard. Fascinated by the age of the structure and he well it's kept. If you drive careful getting into their car park. The entrance was not made for today's fat cars. Many have scraped their left mirror on the wall. ”
