Hotel a Girard

“We only stayed one night because we were passing through after a long day of driving, but unfortunately this hotel was a disappointment. We paid $145.30 for the room and expected it to be clean and well maintained. The room did not match the photos very well. The bedding had brown stains and had to be replaced, the bathroom counters didn’t appear to have been wiped down, the floors didn’t seem properly cleaned, the chairs were heavily stained, and the refrigerator was broken and smelled. “It was overall fairly clean, but our room had an “off” smell. The swimming pool deck paint was peeling and stuck to our feet. I also called ahead to see if they had extra cots for kids and they said yes, they would put one in our room. When I checked in they said they didn’t have anything. Pretty frustrating.”

“Did not have towels in our room after we gave them our used ones, went to the desk to get more and they said sorry I only have hand towels and wash clothes, so we had to dry off with hand towels. The carpet is very dirty, must put shoes on asap you get out of the shower or your feet will be dirt.”

“It is ancient but very well maintained. All the furniture and fixtures looks like it is from the 1950s or 1970s - the building looks to be built of concrete or blocks with a brick exterior. Only about 20 rooms. Room is large and has a tiled bathroom with a toilet that looks like it would swallow the Titanic. Everytthing works and the bed is the best one of the three recent - firm, etc. It does have Wi-Fi and cable TV, the usual microwave and mini-Fridge. Even the parking spaces are set up for...

“This property was wonderful and clean. We had two teenage boys who love fishing and we were able to leave them go on their own fishing on the free kayaks offered. The cabins are very quaint and clean. We were able to spend time on the deck and enjoy the quiet time of the outdoors. Restaurant on premises is very very nice and the people helpful and friendly. Will be staying there again soon. Thank you Carmen”

“Vero che stiamo parlando di un 2 stelle. Però … Pavimenti appiccicosi dappertutto. Soffitti in ingresso rattoppati. Camera 109. Moquette sfilacciata. Rivestimento basi letto rovinato. Porta di ingresso che chiude male. Ante armadio che chiudono male. Un cattivo odore proveniente dal bagno e abbiamo chiuso la porta… Non si apriva più!!! Abbiamo provato in tutti i modi, fino a richiedere intervento receptionist. Il ragazzo molto gentile a sua volta ha provato e poi l’ha aperta con una spallata …...

“This hotel is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and Splash Lagoon. It’s only about 20 minutes from Presque Isle beaches. Our one big complaint is there’s no ramp or handicap access at the one end. We had to lift our luggage and other belongings over the curb. We were able to, but we saw an elderly couple having problems and went and helped them. That should be done immediately in my book!”
